I stamped with BM – XL26, the binary design. 🙂
It’s so super bright in the sun! The swatch last night was in horrible lighting… Sorry about that!
I have been wanting to try these gel – like polishes, and the girl at Sally beauty suggested this brand. Since they don’t have many colors yet, I just got the black one, Alter Ego.
I stamped with china glaze emotion. I am hoping that since I used the proper base and topcoat for Seche Premier Colour, it will last at least a week!
The application was awesome. Two coats was completely opaque. It also dried very quickly!
I saw the Vivid Lacquer stamping plates and had to get some!
This image is from VL 005. Its the famous Lorem ipsum quote block in really pretty font!
It seems like everytime I wear Zoya Lo, I love the color but really want to stamp a gray or black over it. Color Club Revvvolution is black holo that stamps nicely.
Before my husband and I left for a quick New Year trip, I wanted to stamp some snowflakes with one of my new Bundle Monster plates.
I used Konad White, and BM-323. This is over the China Glaze Refreshmint + Piggy Polish Tic Tac Toes that I posted about earlier.
Its so cute together!
Okay, I’m getting my giveaway ready to post next. 🙂
I was so excited to get my new Bundle Monster plates from Amazon! I went to a wedding over the weekend and wanted to try out one of the new designs.
The two plates I tested really worked well! The designs were really etched in deep and they were large enough to even cover my thumb with a lot left over!
Butter London – Toff with Flormar – 389 stamped over, using the new Bundle Monster Plate – BM 314
I reallllly wish their new plates came with a coffee cup design. I thought they said they would with the next set but maybe I’ll have to keep waiting. If you want to see the designs that they did use, check this out:

I wanted to use the new Konad plate I got. It is one of their latest – m85.
I started with China Glaze – Concrete Catwalk and then stamped with a pink holo, Nfu Oh 63. I love stamping with these because it does look pink and gray mostly, but in the sun you can really see the rainbow appear in the stamped design!
Oh, I had SUCH high hopes for using the Bundle Monster plate BM 220!
As soon as I got it, I couldn’t wait until winter to use it. I ended up making quite a mess instead of the cute little peppermint tips I kept dreaming up. haha!
I did a coat of white first, then put some red over it (Rimmel Rapid Ruby) and stamped with the Konad white, so that the red would show through the gaps. It just didn’t show up as cleanly as I thought it would. Then I tried to go back over the messed up spots with white. When I tried to clean up the smile line with the brush, the red started kind of bleeding out of the bottom too, so I finished it up with the white line.
It was still a mess so I thought putting a coat of the Sally Hansen Diamonds would help since its just clear glass fleck and might smooth it out a little?
Ugh, I hope to be able to do this again and have it look like a lot less of a mess. 🙂
Merry Christmas!! 🙂
Here is RGB – Crimson with snowflakes stamped in Konad white. The plates were m59 and T37.
I hate these awkward ones where I try to get my thumb in too. haha!
The polish is such a dream! Its the perfect dark red that still looks really red and its a jelly!!
I couldn’t wait to finally wear Cordur Orange! It was finally the right time for it. I love burnt orange but never wore it on my nails before.
I stamped the leaves with the new Sally Hansen Insta Dri – Cocoa A Go Go!
Happy Thanksgiving!
(Sorry about the lighting, couldn’t get one during the day!)
I know I did blood spatters last year too, but I just love it… probably has to do with how much I love Dexter?
I used the 60 second Rimmell polish in Rapid Ruby and the Konad plates m13 and m21.
I have an awesome vampiress costume and no where to wear it… Halloween snuck up on me. I’ll probably watch scary movies with my fiance and eat chocolate though, which I can’t complain about of course. And his Mom gave us glow sticks. haha! I’ll be playing with those!
I’ll probably pick the giveaway winners tomorrow, so you still have all day to enter! 🙂

I did this one yesterday before going out to meet my parents, fiance, and fiance’s family for dinner. I love how well we all get along and have fun…
I can’t believe I was able to just do a french tip on my own nails instead of having to put pink first… its because of the Illamasqua Base Coat, I swear! It has kept my nails from getting stained! Now that I’ve used it all month, the stained part has grown out to the end and my real nails look normal again. I love that base coat so very much, thank you Illamasqua!
I used Orly – White Tips, then stamped the fishnet design from the konad plate m79 and finally, the straight ribbon strip from a rectangular essence stampy plate, with Konad – Black Pearl.
One of my most favorite nail bloggers is having an OMG giveaway, you gotta go see it. She always does the coolest things with her nails too!

This took forever, but I love how it ended up! I wish it was sunnier so I could get a better picture, but here it is for now…
This is a layer of OPI – Black Onyx, a layer of Nicole by OPI – Nicole’s Nickel, a stripe of Black Onyx on the top corner with OPI – Sanguine on top of that black stripe, then the bow stamped with Konad white!
I also put the Shellac base coat first, then at the end I did the Shellac top coat and cured it 2x so that this will last… hopefully at least a week and a half or 2? 🙂
I love that Konad bow plate, I need to use it more often. It is m7.
(I’m adding a black with silver glitter nail art striping polish to the Halloween Giveaway, I thought it would be a good one to go with those!)
I wore this one for days and days, until it was just about to fall off. I loved it so much! I put it on the night we went roller skating at this old historic roller rink in LA.
So if you look at my last post, I started with the China Glaze – Shocking Pink, but then I took the Color Club – Screamin Fuschia and went over it in places so that it had a neon pink with neon reddish pink blend. I stamped over it with Konad Black Pearl.
The plate I used for this one was A10, which you can actually buy at that place in the link root, but I think I got it from TransDesign or ChezDelaney.
It isn’t summer anymore so I guess I won’t be doing neon again for a while!
This is such a pretty, shimmery, lustrous brown. I’ve worn it a few times and love it so much!
This time I thought I’d try it with Essie Matte About You on it and it kind of frosted it up a bit too much, I need to find a Matte that has a little less of an effect for some of my polishes…
I went to put a clear coat back over it so it wouldn’t be so frosty and I was missing my stamping stuff so much, so I got my stuff out and stamped some stars on with China Glaze Adore. 🙂
Then I was happy!!
This was some experimenting I did before the french manicure that I posted in my last post!
First, I put a layer of ManGlaze – Mayonnaise on, so that I could see what these hot pinks were going to look like over white!
Here is a swatch, its a matte white polish with some shimmer!
Here were my hot pinks and one neon green I was going to try while I was at it:
From left to right, those are Color Club – Screamin Fucshia, Konad – Psyche Pink, Sally Hansen – Sonic Bloom, a Kiss nail art polish in Bikini Coral, Revlon Scented – Raspberry Rapture, Sally Hansen – Orange You Cute, Zoya – Ali, Illamasqua – Lament, Diamond Cosmetics nail art polish in neon green, Essie – Pink Parka, and Zoya – Lolly
The 3 on the right didn’t work at all (Diamond Cosmetics nail art polish in neon green, Essie – Pink Parka, and Zoya – Lolly)! But all of the ones on the right did!
Here they are stamped with the new bundle monster plates!
I wanted to do a french manicure and stamp some pink flowers on. I actually tested a lot of different hot pinks over white, and I’ll upload photos of my experimenting later, but I went with a mix of Konad Psyche Pink and Color Club Screamin Fucshia!
I also put little dots of silver inside the tiny little flowers. The flowers were from Essence stampy plate… hmm it doesn’t have a number, but its a mini rectangle plate!
These pictures were actually taken 3 days later, and it doesn’t look very worn, so I think I found a good combo for my tips!
I just did Orly Anchor, then Orly Bonder, then Orly White Tips. I cleaned the line up with the brush and just put clear Color Club Vivid Top Coat on.
That’s the longest I’ve had it last with no worn out tips!
I wanted to send Jules and Olivia for giving me the blog awards (below) so I sent them a new Bundle Monster plate. Olivia said she’s never done any nail stamping at all, so I sent her a stamper and a Revlon metallic silver polish to try stamping with.
I also made her a quick tutorial video and put it on YouTube, so I’ll post it here.
When I did my Easter Giveaway, the thing that was said the most in response to me asking if there’s anything you’d like to see more of was tutorials! So here’s my first one… I WILL use a better camera next time and I won’t be such a spaz maybe? 🙂
This one looked really bad on me although I LOVE the color of the actual polish. I almost didn’t want to bother posting the swatch, but it didn’t look so bad when I stamped on it with the American Apparel’s Coney Island pink to make it stand out a little more…
Here is the swatch by itself. Eeek, melds too much with my skin tone and looks a little too grandma-ish!
After I stamped it I was like okay, that looks less like grandma nails? Looks more like grandma’s couch though.
I wish it worked on me because I really do love vintage rose mauves like this. I’ll swap it to someone who can make it look prettier. 🙂
I’d like to point out that American Apparel – Coney Island is a really pretty pastel pink and it stamps SO well!
I had seen this one around so many times, in blogs, in stores… and I never really had any interest but I picked it up when I bought Mrs O’Leary’s BBQ (swatch coming soon!) because it looked like BBQ mixed with chocolate! Or, like mole sauce!
I was in Spain last year for a couple of weeks and nothing about the polish reminded me of tapas, or Spain in general. The best thing I had in Spain was actually a hamburger. ha! (From Homeburger, OMG don’t miss out on that place if you go to Madrid.) I should say the best food… I was loving all the Rioja more than anything.
Well now this whole thing has me thinking of Spain again afterall. *sigh* If you want to see my pictures from the trip, I made an online album. 🙂
Anyways, focus Holly… I’m SO glad I finally gave this polish a try because I actually really love it!
Its such a nice creme formula that looks good in the shade and in the sun. I can’t explain why its so special, I couldn’t really tell until it was on my nails.
After a few days, I decided to stamp it with Konad silver polish. I usually do that when I still love the color but got bored enough to at least do one last thing to it before I remove it!
I grabbed this one for my Spring Giveaway and had to swatch it really quickly! It is a really pretty pink red that is like a half jelly.. you know those that are jelly-ish but opaque in 3 coats still, if you prefer to wear it that way?
I finally took the Zoya – Kate off last night, but before doing that, I wore it all day stamped with Sally Hansen Insta Dri – Mauve It! It was pretty cute! I used my new Chez Delaney XL stamping plate B.
